From a psecret base in Kawasaki prefecture just outside Tokyo, Mayuri Akama runs Fastback, a dj and production agency driving the scene in Japan's manic capital.

Spinning regularly in person and on air, organising events from clubs throughout the city to her recent outdoor techno festival Metamorphose at the foot of Mt Fuji, Mayuri, like her dj style, operates non-stop.

FP:X, the final Fun Poison for 2000 brings you this special guest for an all night session of nastyedge nailbiting good time knees up rollicking dancefloor action. Tanoshii Doku (Fun Poison) in full effect.

Filling the floor alongside Mayuri will be Agent99 and Shadowgirl of the Stereonasties team both playing extended, diverse sets before Mayuri delivers the goods. At the end of the night, all three djs will mix up a storm in a track for track showdown the likes of which you will only hear at a Fun Poison party.
